ATTO Rho11 ist ein neuer Fluoreszenzmarker basierend auf einer Rhodaminstruktur. Der Farbstoff trägt eine funktionelle Gruppe zur Kopplung an Biomoleküle wie DNA, RNA, Proteine etc. Der Farbstoff zeigt eine sehr hohe Fluoreszenzquantenausbeute sowie eine außerordentlich hohe Photostabilität. Der Farbstoff ist mäßig hydrophil. ATTO Rho11 ist ein kationischer Farbstoff. Nach der Kopplung an ein Substrat ist der Farbstoff einfach positiv geladen. Eine effiziente Anregung der Fluoreszenz erfolgt im Bereich 550 - 580 nm.
